Colby Covington has made it known he is not a fan of LeBron James.
Covington has taken several shots at James for the past couple of years, but after the NBA star attended his son’s USC basketball game, James sat down for the national anthem. That did not sit well with Covington who concluded his media day blasting the Los Angeles Lakers star.
“If you hate America so much, and you don’t like this country that gave you a billion dollars, leave it. Or come deal with me. Go to China. Go to these sweatshops that you employ all these laborers and use these women and pay them pennies on the dollar to make your millions. F**k you LeBron James. You’re a coward. You’re a spineless coward and you’re a b***h,” Covington said to conclude his UFC 296 media day.
As of right now, LeBron James has yet to respond to Colby Covington’s comments, and given the fact he has never responded, it’s unlikely he will.
Although Covington has taken aim at James, his focus is on Leon Edwards on Saturday night at UFC 296 for the welterweight title.
Covington says he’d beat up James
Back in 2020, Colby Covington was vocal about his displeasure with LeBron James and threatened to fight him.

After Jake Paul knocked out Nate Robinson, a few weeks later, Covington took to social media to blast James. He also claimed he would finish James within 10 seconds.
“Heard they finally scraped Nate Robinson’s carcass off the floor. I’d make LeBron James eat the canvas in half the time. NBA players are the softest and most privileged athletes.” – Colby Covington wrote on Twitter… LOL at the snowflakes that believe @KingJames could even last 10 seconds with me! If that coward had the balls or the ability to kick anyone’s ass, Delonte West would’ve lost his teeth long before his meth habit!”
Although Colby Covington continues to blast LeBron James, nothing will come of it as the two will never fight.
