  • Ciryl Gane did a couple of Nate Diaz’s signature stunts in front of some members of UFC Vegas 67 media
  • “Bon Gamin” is down for an interim title fight with Jon Jones or a rematch with Francis Ngannou

Ciryl Gane is not yet booked for a fight but he has his way of making himself relevant. In a recent video on social media right now, “Bon Gamin” could be seen hilariously emulating Nate Diaz.

Gane did a great job though

As all MMA fans know, Nate Diaz has ingrained in us his signature fist pose and flipping-the-bird stunt. That’s what Gane appeared to be mimicking when he ran into some members of the media ahead of UFC Vegas 67 in Las Vegas.

In all fairness to “Bon Gamin,” he did a pretty good job in his Diaz impression, including the signature Diaz brothers’ flamboyant walk.

Down for whatever

On a more serious note, Gane has already made it clear that he is open for an interim title fight if the reigning UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will be out for a longer period of time. The Frenchman also has no problems facing former longtime light heavyweight champion Jon Jones who has been generating buzz for quite some time as he edges closer to his heavyweight debut.

It can be recalled that “Bon Gamin” failed to dethrone Ngannou at UFC 270 but he proved that he’s still the rightful No. 1 heavyweight contender when he systematically battered Tai Tuivasa at UFC Paris in September 2022.

Gane now has a record of 11-1 in MMA and the defeat to Ngannou remains the only flaw in his professional career. He has gone 8-1 under the UFC banner, five of which were impressive finishes.
