Christine Ferea walked out of at the Rio Rancho Events Center in Albuquerque, N.M. as still the BKFC women’s flyweight champion after mauling her opponent Taylor Starling in just 47 seconds.
That was quick
The reigning champ came out blazing in the opening round, throwing a flurry of strikes on Starling. Ferea landed a variety of devastating punches that eventually saw Starling holding on to the ropes. The challenger managed to get back up but was heard repeatedly uttering, “I can’t do it.”
Ferea went on and did her thing, pouring some more punches that forced Starling to finally verbally surrender.
Successful maiden title defense
The victory saw “Misfit” successfully defending her BKFC flyweight title, the strap she won after edgind Britain Hart at Knucklemania 2.
Ferea is now enjoying a four-fight winning streak under the BKFC banner.
Ferea is becoming one of the biggest draw in bare-knuckle boxing. With a stunning win, it will be interesting to see who she will fight next. Let’s wait and see.
