BKFC has arrived to London.
The main event of BKFC 27 features a bout nobody knew they wanted. Former Bellator title challenger Michael ‘Venom’ Page makes his bare-knuckle debut against ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry inside the Wembley Arena, in London, England.
Round 1:
Mike Perry rushes Michael Page in the opening seconds of the round and they end up in the clinch. They separate and MVP hits Perry from behind. Perry returns fire, knocking MVP down in the first minute of the fight. A count is started with MVP getting back up. Perry lands to the body of MVP as they clinch.
Round 2:
MVP stuns an aggressive Perry with a right hand. They clinch multiple times and separate. MVP hits Perry with a good 1-2. The two trade shots at the body. Page lands the jab as Perry misses his punches to end the round.
Round 3:
Perry continues with his forward pressure as MVP looks to counter while on the back foot. Perry swings but misses the head of Page. Page lands a right hand on Perry. Perry tries to close the distance by clinching MVP but Page does a good job of keeping a distance and evading shots. Perry misses wildly while attempting a punch.
Round 4:
Page lands a massive jab to begin round 4. Perry lands a good left hook but MVP returns with a shot right down the barrel. They go into the clinch before being separated. Another jab lands for MVP. MVP lands a left hook and Perry misses on his strikes once again.
Round 5:
Perry lands a wild right hand. Perry misses with the rear right hook. Perry lands some body shots in the clinch. They clinch again, over and over again with Perry looking to land something. MVP lands two strikes on Perry. Fight continues after the judges scored it a split draw. They go into overtime.
Round 6:
Page and Perry go to war with both men swinging for the fences! Page catches Perry with a right hand on the exit. Perry goes for the body of Page in the clinch. MVP lands a jab. Perry lands a left hand in return. Perry pours on the pressure, chasing down MVP. Perry bloodies Page with a great strike. Perry goes back-and-forth with Page, exchanging strikes in the pocket to end the overtime round.
