Bummer, Bobby Lashley is out of Strikeforce: LA with a knee injury

If you’ve spent more than two minutes on MiddleEasy then you probably know that we herald Bobby Lashley as the second coming of Optimus Prime. All of those dreams you had last week of Bobby Lashley gracing the cage at Strikeforce Los Angeles can be removed from whatever region of the brain big enough to store memories of 265lb frate tranes. Bobby Lashley vs. Ron Sparks has been removed from the line-up at the Nokia Theater due to a knee injury he sustained while training. Now people can stop accusing Bobby Lashley of ducking Shane Del Rosario (at least for now).

Fortunately, Shane Del Rosario is not injured and will face Lolohea Mahe on the same card. Yes, the same Lolohea Mahe who was edged out by Lavar Johnson in Strikeforce Challengers a couple months ago. In a perfect world, on June 16th we would see Johnson vs. Del Rosario and the winner would get a shot at Bigfoot, Arlovski or Rogers. Instead, we have a broken pipeline leaking 6,000 barrels of oil in the ocean everyday and the best thing we can do is build a clunky underwater tower that shoots mud and concrete into the ocean floor…and it doesn’t even work. The one time when Aquaman could have actually saved the world and he’s too busy being interviewed by Martian Manhunter. Damn you DC Comics.
