Alex Vamos is his name and deceiving purple belts is his game. That sounds like the beginning of an early-90s rap song, but it’s entirely the truth. Alex Vamos is a multi Pan America and NAGA champion black belt, along with a few other tournaments that you probably haven’t heard of unless you’ve been around the jiu-jitsu circuits for a while. I can’t say that I have, unfortunately. Francisco over at DstryrSG is a Machado blackbelt so he’s undoubtedly more versed than I am at BJJ tournaments. I don’t even know why I’m writing this article — the guys at DstryrSG should be creating it.
Nevertheless, the lulz must flow this Friday afternoon. Perhaps that’s why Alex Vamous decided to go into Alan Belcher’s academy, throw a white belt on, and troll everyone in the entire facility. Check it out.
