BAMMA just released a blast to the past in the form of a six-second knockout! Yes!

Desensitization is kicking in. I mean, this six-second KO from BAMMA 10 last year delivered by Sam Mensah to Mike Neun brain is fantastic, don’t get me wrong. But when it comes down to it, I don’t think the two second knockout from 2008 when Ryohei Masuda caught Takahiro Kuroishi will ever be topped. I want it to become mandatory for fighters to bullrush each other, or at least for one fighter to have to bullrush another. Maybe it could be decided by the flip of a commemorative oversized coin backstage. The commission can work out the details, that’s not my problem.

Imagine all the time we would save if the average super-fast knockout was hovering around the three second mark rather than the six to ten second mark. We could see the world.

At least we can take a journey to the UK via this video of Knockout we wish was uploaded months ago. Take a BAMMA blast to the past for the first time below.
