Andrea Lee Outlasts Montana De La Rosa For A Unanimous Decision Win!
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is invading Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina tonight (Saturday, June 22, 2019).
Welcome to the Women’s Flyweight match between Kyokushin black belt and ex-women’s LFA champ Andrea Lee (red gloves) and submission expert Montana de la Rosa (blue gloves). The ref in charge for this contest is Gary Copeland. The match is underway!
Round 1
Fighters are very cautious at the beginning of the match. Not much action in the first minute, de la Rosa missed with a big right hand. Few solid jabs on both sides.

Strong right de la Rosa to open the round. Good takedown attempt by de la Rosa, Lee defends well, de la Rosa is persistent, and she pushes Lee against the cage. Nasty uppercut!
Hey, it seems de la Rosa is bleeding!
Great knee to the head Lee, followed by a stiff jab. Explosive takedown attempt de la Rosa, but Lee sprawls and defends well!

Andrea Lee controls the center, lands a good body shot. Body kicks on both sides. Awesome straight punch to the body de la Rosa, followed by a takedown. Lee is pressed against the cage, de la Rosa picks her up and takes her down again.
Montana had her back for a second, but Lee defends well and escapes from the clinch. De la Rosa seems tired.
Wow, awesome head kick by Lee, but she lost the balance, she is down.
