After the UFC 129 weigh-ins, Jake Shields claimed he would be taking the belt home with him while Georges St. Pierre stated that he would get the victory. Clearly, someone is lying here. GSP also made the unreasonable request that we should ‘not blink’ at UFC 129. Apparently GSP fails to realize that we’re all humans and that it’s simply impossible to not blink for an extended amount of time. The eye needs lubrication, and our eyelids are nature’s KY Jelly. However, before all of that was said, the two faced off in one of the largest weigh-in crowds in UFC history.
