- Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill came face-to-face at a UFC 300 media event
- “Sweet Dreams” asked “Poatan” to sign his jacket
Jamahal Hill and Alex Pereira proved that they are both classy in their first face-to-face encounter ahead of their UFC 300 light heavyweight title fight.
No animosity, just respect
The MMA world has been buzzing about Pereira vs. Hill as the highly-anticipated UFC 300 event approaches. At the media event, the inevitable finally happened as “Sweet Dreams” and “Poatan” met each other in the flesh.
Contrary to what some may have expected, the pair did not have any sort of altercation. Instead, Pereira and Hill expressed their respect for one another.
Before splitting, “Sweet Dreams” asked the Brazilian champ a favor. Hill handed Pereira a jacket and asked him to sign on it. As expected, “Poatan” signed it and the two shook hands one last time before parting ways in peace.
“Question, can I get you to sign something?,” Hill asked Pereira.
“I got everybody on the card to sign it. Even though we are going to go to battle and do our thing, I still respect you, I‘m still a fan and I still appreciate you,” he explained as he hands the jacket to Pereira.

An exciting title fight
Many have already shared their UFC 300 main event prediction. Unsurprisingly, some are convinced that Pereira is the more well-rounded striker given how impressive he has been in his previous performances. However, there are also those who believe Hill’s knockout power could be the difference.
Hill was derailed by his Achilles injury and was forced to relinquish his light heavyweight title. He is now eager to take it back. On the other hand, “Poatan” is looking forward to defending his belt and quickly bouncing back to compete at UFC 301 in Brazil.
