And, by tease, we mean a 1:46 trailer for what looks to be a very interesting and inspiring 20-minute documentary about Kyra Gracie and her charity organization, Instituto Kapacidade. You’re playing it cool, grappler, but we know your strange obsession with her. It’s creepy, but she is pretty charming. So, you get a pass.
As the granddaughter of Carlos Gracie, Kyra is BJJ royalty, so to speak. That’s a good place to start, but she’s gone much further than that, claiming several BJJ titles (including 4 World Championships, 5 Pan Am Championships and 3 ADCC Championships) and being an overall icon for women in grappling. From this trailer, it sounds like she’s a doing good in the world as well.
