Badr Hari Retires After Trilogy Loss to Alistair Overeem Who Makes Successful Comeback – GLORY ‘Collision 4’ Highlights

"The Demolition Man" struggled in the early rounds against "Bad Boy" but managed to do enough to get the win

Alistair Overeem, a former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion, Dream Heavyweight Champion, K-1 World Grand Prix Champion and former UFC Heavyweight title challenger marked his return to action in kickboxing after being let go by the UFC against longtime rival Badr Hari at Glory Collision 4 in Arnhem, Netherlands.

Glory Collision 4: Alistair Overeem vs. Badr Hari 3

Round 1: Overeem came out strong and landed a nice back left hand at the start. Hard fired back a snapping right hand. Hard with a kick to the body. Overeem almost runs into Hari’s power shot. Overeem with a looping front hook. Nice inside kick to the thigh of Overeem by Hari followed up by another huge one. Overeem gets in the clinch and tries knee strikes. Hari chopping away at his legs.

Round 2: Overeem is dipping his head down in hopes of landing an overhand. Overeem lands a low blow and a brief break. Low kick by Overeem. Hari with another big low kick to end the flurry of strikes. A left hook has Overeeem down. Kick to the inside of body by Badr. High kick from Overeem blocked. Huge uppercut from Overeem has Hard wobbled. 

Round 3: Overeem with a running step-in jab. Big left from Overeem. Hari digging into the body with his left hook and uppercut. Big right from Overeem and another one has Hari in trouble. Badr is down. He returns. Another overhand right sends Hari down. Big right hand for Hari now. 

Result: Alistair Overeem defeated Badr Hari via unanimous decision (29-26, 28-27 x4).
