It’s generally accepted that Ocarina of Time is one of the greatest games of all time. I personally never felt that way. I just wasn’t a huge fan of either of the Zelda games on the N64. It was hard for me to articulate at the time as to why I didn’t like them because I was so young. I loved Link to the Past and to this day I still believe it to be the best in the series. The combat for me was just so much more satisfying, I would always get frustrated with the Ocarina of Time with how clunky it was.
Maybe it’s just because I didn’t grow up as a Zelda super fan, maybe that’s why I didn’t like the N64 Zelda games. Truth be told, the majority of games from that generation haven’t aged that well at all. There are a handful at most that are still fun today.
The infamous Egoraptor delves into why the Ocarina of Time isn’t as good as people claim it to be. Or you know, he could be totally wrong since it’s only an opinion.
