Man, so I don’t have an Xbox One but a game like Sunset Overdrive is probably enough to make me at least want to pick one up at some point. Microsoft tended to lean more towards the “dude” spectrum of gaming with a lot of their exclusives, but games like Sunset Overdrive show that they want to do more varied and interesting stuff, which is awesome.
This video is about eight minutes of gameplay from Sunset Overdrive from a recent presentation and damn does it look cool. It still has some of that wackiness that the Ratchet and Clank games had while having a style all of its own. How will it stack up against a game like PS4 exclusive Infamous: Second Son? Only time will be able to tell, but stylistically this game is just fascinating.
