South Park: The Stick of Truth is finally out, it seems like the modern day Daikatana in terms of number of delays. It’s been through what seems like more developers than the number of magical submission pants Shinya Aoki has. Of course Aoki’s best submission pants were his pink, blue, yellow and green ones used vs. Hirota. Second would be his candy cane or “Where’s Waldo” pants he wore vs. Shaolin Ribeiro.
I understand why in the unified rules Aoki isn’t allowed to wear his submission pants, but I can’t understand why in 2014 that some countries feel the need to allocate resources to censoring video games. Yet here we are, with the release of the new South Park game, it has faced several instances where scenes needed to be taken out or censored. It’s a good thing that several countries have taken it upon themselves to stop the terror that is South Park: The Stick of Truth.
