PC gaming has officially jumped the shark with Goat Simulator

As someone who’s a console gamer, I was always and am always jealous of PC gamers. There are so many benefits to it, outside of the cost of entry. First and foremost, steam sales are ever so succulent, you pretty much never have to buy a game at full retail price ever again. The modding community is quite tender, improving anything and everything to your favorite game. Also, let’s face it, no matter what PC games will always have the more palatable graphics at the end of the day.

While all of these things are nice, I believe the biggest and best advantage of PC gaming is how it allows for more scrumptious niche titles to be released. I’m a guy who loves hardcore simulation racing games and hey both Gran Turismo and Forza do a decent job at delivering that but after playing iRacing, neither of those games can hold a candle to it. Much like the hardcore racing sims there’s an endless amount of smaller moist games that just don’t have a big enough audience to warrant a console release.

I have to say though, PC gaming might’ve officially jumped the shark with this one. I’m not sure what to say about this, but it’s a thing now. It’s a video game thing. I’d much prefer GOAT simulator where you just roamed Russia playing as Fedor.
