Bungie’s Destiny is one of those games that has gotten a lot of hype over the last few months because it is the first non-Halo game that we’ll see from Bungie in a very long time (since 2001!). So what exactly will Destiny be? It seems like it will be an online FPS game that is kind of a MMO, kind of like Borderlands if Borderlands was online, but with this rich new universe that Bungie has built for the game.
I definitely have (or at least had) hopes for Bungie’s Destiny to be something new and exciting, but by the looks of this video it looks to be just another shooter, which isn’t really a bad thing, but it’s not super exciting, either. You know what you are getting into with this and I assume that we’ll see more of Destiny come E3 time. But for now, check out this footage of Destiny and decide for yourself.
