So there have been a lot of unhappy people complaining about the length and girth of Ground Zeroes. Granted the main story is about two hours long, but in my play through including the main story with all the side missions I played at least eight hours. I played some missions more than once and enjoyed every last second of it. Even if I didn’t play the missions more than once I still would’ve felt happy with my purchase. The length of a game doesn’t define the quality of it. Sure I could buy the generic store brand cola for cheaper and get more than some Coke, but quality > quantity.
Now that my short rant is out of the way. The Metal Gear Solid series is more known for it’s story than it’s gameplay for better or for worse. It has so many iconic scenes, form every game, there’s always a handful that stick with you well after you played them. After each game, I always end up talking to Jason Nawara about certain scenes and how powerful they were. It does appear my favorite all time scene, the microwave scene from MGS4 is one of Kojima’s favorites as well. So check out his other seven favorite scenes.
