The Wolfenstein series has always been synonymous with one thing for me and that’s Super 3D Noah’s Arc. As the only unlicensed game on the SNES, it’s become the thing of legends. Word has it that the guys at iD software were upset that Nintendo toned down the violence in Wolfenstein. In retaliation iD allegedly leaked the code for Wolfenstein 3D to the developer of Super 3D Noah’s Arc to spite Nintendo. As a man who’s gone out of his way to spite people, I have to hand it to iD if this is true, good on them.
Over two decades later Wolfenstein has a new developer, the first Wolfenstein not to be developed by iD in twenty two years. I hope you’re all ready to kill some Nazi’s, because we can all agree Nazi’s are just a fun group of people to viciously murder.
Now, if we can only get a new Noah’s Arc game on PS4 and Xbox One, because if there’s one thing I love more than shooting Nazi’s it’s using my slingshot to shoot food at goats, am I right?
