The Borderlands games are some of the shining, unlikely stars of the last generation of game consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360). The concept was simple, really; you are a vault hunter, you shoot your way through anything and everything. Sometimes you can do it with friends via co-op and you’ll have fun with it. There really isn’t a ton of depth to Borderlands, but that is kind of what makes it so damned fun.
So it comes as kind of a surprise that 2K has decided to do one last hurrah on the last generation of consoles for Borderlands in the way of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is due out on October 17th and will be coming out for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and it’ll be in low gravity of a moon. Think of this as a sendoff from the Borderlands team for the consoles that made them lots of money.
Here is the new trailer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel including a dance breakdown segment featuring all of the characters. Not joking.
