For nine days, gaming was blessed with Bungie’s latest offering to us gamers.
With a friend, I jumped into the Destiny beta, looking to continue my experience from the alpha and seeing what else was on offer in the game.
If you were like us, you would have exhausted yourself on the game and clocked many hours on it. Whether it was in the crucible, fighting other Guardians for control of a map. Or blowing up the Hive and the Fallen simultaneously, while wreaking havoc across the decaying, baren wastelands of Old Russia.
And if you were like me, you would have probably strayed too far into the map, and tried to take on level 20 enemies; getting one-shotted after failing to realise your weapons did no damage whatsoever. And if you were like me (again), you would have kept straying too far, only to discover the frightening Shreiker, getting blown to shreds every time you stepped near it.
Sadly, the beta is over (as a result, leaving me with withdrawal from the game). However, Bungie have kindly given us an infographic which collates all the statistics from the nine days of gameplay.
The statistics show the massive scale of the game. From the amount of players that have played; the amount of Guardians that were revivied; all the way down to the people who lied about landing on the Moon.
