Jake Paul seems to be moving on from his scheduled exhibition boxing match against Tommy Fury.

‘The Problem Child’ was set to take on Tommy Fury this August at Madison Square Garden in New York. The pair were initially booked for December 2021 but the event was pushed back after Fury had to withdraw. Jake Paul would go on to knockout Tyron Woodley, who was found as the replacement for the occasion.

Now it seems like history might repeat itself.

Jake Paul seems to be moving on

Fury’s camp had informed Paul that they were denied entry into the United States. While ‘TNT’ himself is not aware of what the reason might be, it has been speculated that it may be based on the family’s ties to Daniel Kinahan, an Irish boxing promoter and suspected crime boss. Kinahan has a reward of up to $5,000,000 for information leading to the financial disruption of the Kinahan criminal organization or his arrest.

Paul went on a tirade urging Tommy to visit the embassy and request an expedited work visa after issues surrounding his entry surfaced.
He took to his Twitter to inform that the younger Fury is in hiding and that he’ll be moving on from the fight.

“Tommy Fury is in hiding. Bitch made.

“Tyson Fury lawyer never got back to my team on setting up escrow for our $1M bet. Never believed in his brother.

Instructed my team to do a Hova and move On To The Next One.”

Tommy Fury had agreed to the fight but is yet to respond further

Following Paul lambasting him online, Tommy responded by confirming that the fight will go through. He and his team allegedly told Paul that everything was going fine and that Fury would make it to the event. They were even supposed to have a press conference that looks unlikely now.

Paul claims that Fury has shown no sense of urgency to get the visa situation sorted out. He even went further to accuse the Fury team of trying to move the fight to the UK to help deal with the issues.

At the time of writing, Tommy did not respond to Paul. No further official announcements have come as of yet. Unless Fury is able to restore the card, a new opponent will likely be found.
