- Heavyweight YouTube boxers combined for almost 800 pounds at weigh-ins
- The pair got the event host complaining about their smell during their faceoff
Even before their boxing match at Misfits Boxing 007 in London on Saturday, heavyweight YouTube boxers Wings of Redemption and Boogie 2988 already made headlines for apparently stinking on the stage during their faceoff.
Intense and smelly
Wings, whose real name is Jordie Jordan, and Boogie, whose real name is Steven Williams, are set to clash inside the ring on the Misfits Boxing 007 preliminary card. The pair was listed as heavyweight but they were more overweight when they tipped the scale. Wings weighed in at 404.3 lbs, while Boogie logged 391.6 lbs to combine for almost 800 pounds.
During their faceoff, the two had a brief exchange which led to Boogie raising up his arm to show his armpit. At that point, the event’s host could no longer keep it to himself and began complaining about the smell.
“You guys don’t wanna know how bad it smells up here. I’m just gonna say that,” he said.

Boogie had to overcome some challenges
Indeed, fans were delighted and entertained by Wings and Boogie. But on a more serious note, Boogie admitted that he had o overcome big challenges heading into the fight.
“I would have told you five years ago there was no way I would have been able to leave America,” Boogie told Mirror Fighting. “This fight would have killed me, once I got to London what could I have done? Use a wheelchair to get around from restaurant to restaurant?”
“I think it’s a miracle that I’m here, six years ago I got gastric bypass surgery and lost 200 pounds,” he continued. “I’ve also focused on my brain, I saw a psychedelic therapist earlier in the year and I realized how wrong I was about life. I was also so afraid and scared of everything. I realized the point of life is a game to be played to have fun and that’s what I’m here to do.”
Misfits Boxing 007 is headlined by a bout between KSI, who is coming a KO victory over FaZe Temper, and Joe Fournier. The main card is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. ET. See the full card below:
