Tyson Fury Praised Wilder For KO Win

Undefeated WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder returned to the action last night (Sat, May 18, 2019) against mandatory challenger Dominic Breazeale from inside the Barclays Center in New York City. “Bronze Bomber” took his boxing skills to another level when he flattens his opponent via ferocious huge right-hand knockout in the first frame.

Wilder is coming off a twelve round split draw against undefeated English heavyweight Tyson Fury back in December.

Meanwhile, in his storied career, Breazeale’s only other loss came against Anthony Joshua back in 2016.

Following Wilder’s KO win over Dominic in New York, Fury released a video message while keeping his tone positive and reminded ‘Bronze Bomber’ that he’s the winner of their first fight. Being said that, Fury also congratulates Wilder for a big victory. (h/t MMAMania)

“This is Tyson Fury, AKA the ‘Gypsy King,’” Fury said. “I just want to say well done to Deontay Wilder in knocking out Dominic Breazeale. I got that prediction quite correct. Anybody who wants to go toe to toe with Deontay Wilder will have the same fate as Dominic Breazeale and the rest of his 40 other victims.”

”Anthony Joshua, you’ll get it as well,” Fury continued. “Same thing will happen to you. Dillian Whyte as well. The ‘Bronze Bomber’ is the most fearsome, most destructive puncher in the heavyweight division. But it’s just a pity that he had to lose to the Gypsy King. Anyone that stands in front of Deontay Wilder, he will knock them out. Deontay Wilder is the second baddest man on the planet behind the Gypsy King Tyson Fury, the number one heavyweight in the world. Nobody can beat me. I can’t be touched.”

An immediate rematch between Wilder and Fury were delayed twice but all talks went sideways when Fury signed an exclusive deal with ESPN. However, Wilder is with Showtime.

Fury is set to meet Tom Schwarz on June 15 from inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
