Ryan Garcia has given UFC welterweight Colby Covington some free striking lessons.
King Ry teaches Colby some tricks
Garcia and Covington crossed paths but contrary to what many may have expected, the two flamboyant fighters didn’t engage in any sort of altercation. Instead, “King Ry” even handed “Chaos” a couple of striking techniques.
In a short clip now circulating online, Garcia could be seen demonstrating some combinations to Covington as the former UFC welterweight title challenger watched in awe.

Ryan and Colby are on opposite lanes
Garcia and Covington may have been on the same page but they are currently in a completely opposite situations. Covington is coming off a title fight loss to Leon Edwards at UFC 296 and is yet to find a new opponent. On the other hand, “King Ry” had just defeated Devin Haney with a blockbuster performance. Garcia even took home a whopping $12 million in winnings after wagering $2 million on himself against Haney.
As it stands, Haney is calling for a rematch with Garcia but nothing has been progressing at this point. Covington, meanwhile, previously called out Stephen Thompson but is now being linked to a showdown with Ian Garry.
