Jake Paul isn’t too intrigued when it comes to a potential fight with KSI.

‘The Problem Child’ returns to the boxing ring this weekend when he takes on Tommy Fury. While Fury remains his main focus, Paul is being floated a few names for his next opponent already. One potential fight in the future is fellow YouTuber-turned-boxer JJ Olatunji, better known as KSI.

‘I Have Much Bigger Plans Than Him’

While KSI has campaigned for this fight, Paul is yet to be sold on it.

“He’s a side chick to me. I have much bigger plans than him,” Paul said of KSI on ‘The MMA Hour’. “I want to be a world champion. I’m gonna become a world champion. That’s the path I’m on. KSI is kind of like a side quest.

“Of course, I’m his end goal. It’s just funny to me and that’s what makes me the A-side. [It] is how desperate he is, how much he wants this so badly. And don’t get me wrong, I would love to fight him, but again, I’m focused on fighting real fighters, world champions.”

Paul’s Not Impressed

Paul continued in his rant against KSI.

“He’s doing his like WWE shows, the whole Misfits thing, fighting video gamers. That’s what I did four years ago, three years ago. So, there’s just levels to this. And until he gets in there and fights someone like Woodley, which is who he should fight, I’m not impressed by anything he’s done and I could really care less.”

Paul Believes KSI Should Fight Woodley

While Paul’s not too concerned about KSI, he thinks that the internet sensation should fight a former foe of his rather than the undefeated Joe Fournier.

“Beat [Tyron] Woodley a million percent,” Paul said of who KSI should fight next. “[Joe] Fournier doesn’t have an audience. Woodley is a massive name. It’s a massive pay-per-view draw and a way more exciting fight. I think KSI wants to do it cause Joe is like technically a professional boxer, but Joe’s kind of like been in there with taxi drivers and just really easy fighters. So he has a good record, but it’s a padded record. He is never fought anyone actually.”

Paul Doesn’t Like KSI’s Chances Against Woodley

Having fought the former UFC Champion twice, Paul doesn’t think KSI gets past Woodley.

“I don’t think so,” Paul said, when asked if KSI beats Woodley. “…I think Tyron knocks him out actually and I think that’s why he’s most likely gonna choose Joe.”

‘There’s No Interest In It’

If KSI drops a defeat to either them or somebody else, Paul will not have much interest at all in fighting the internet sensation.

“There’s no interest in it,” Paul continued. “No interest, I’m already losing interest. It’s like he talks, he has excuses. He says one thing then goes back on his word. He reminds me of Tommy Fury, honestly. So, I’ve already lost a lot of interest in it.

“I would mainly, um, just be doing it to pick up a bag like a bank robbery. I’m gonna go in there, knock him out and do a front flip off of his unconscious body and just take home the bag. honestly, that’s what that fight is for, for me.”
