Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Share Awkward Handshake At Lakers Game!

Floyd Mayweather And Manny Pacquiao Bumped Into Each Other At LA Lakers Vs Golden State Warriors Basketball Game!

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are old rivals. The two fought on May 2, 2015, in Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada. It was the match with the greatest paycheck in the history of boxing.

Almost four years later, two rivals bumped at each other at the basketball match between LA Lakers and Golden State Warriors at Staples Center on Monday.

Well, “the meeting” was pretty interesting. Manny Pacquiao walked behind his former rival, undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Floyd Mayweather turned around after noticing the Filipino boxer, and the two smiled at each other. But the greeting attempt ended up with a bunch of hand grabbing and fist bumping. While “The Pacman” was turning to walk away, Floyd Mayweather Jr even “delivered” a few friendly digs to Pacquiao’s stomach.

Mayweather retired following his win over Andre Berto in 2015. Yet, he returned for a boxing match versus the former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor, whom he defeated in August 2017 via TKO in the tenth round. In his last “fight”, he “dominated” Japanese kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa at the main event of Rizin 14 on December 31, 2018.

On the other hand, Manny Pacquiao dominated Adrien Broner on Saturday night to secure a unanimous decision win. After the fight, the Filipino legend challenged Floyd Mayweather Jr, asking for a rematch. (h/t DailyMail)

“I’m still active and if he goes back to the ring and wants to challenge me, I’m a champion. Get back to the ring and we will fight again if he wants.”

What do you think, will the rematch between Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather happen in the future? What are your thoughts on the controversial handshake?
