- Jake Paul fired shots at Floyd Mayweather after his exhibition showing under Global Titans Fighting Series
- Anderson Silva also came under heat as Paul claimed he would beat both in the same night
YouTube sensation Jake Paul has not shied away from controversies. Last year, he would almost come to exchange blows with the boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather, at a press conference. Paul wasted no time in taking aim at the Hall of Famer right after his exhibition bout this past Friday.
Paul claims that he would beat Floyd Mayweather and Anderson Silva both on the same night.
Jake Paul fires shots at Mayweather & Silva
Following the return of ‘Money’ to boxing for the third time since his victory over Conor McGregor in 2017, Jake Paul fired shots at the 45-year-old. Making his debut for Global Titans in the first event of a planned six, Mayweather took on his former sparring partner Don Moore in an exhibition bout in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Taking to Twitter to take aim at Mayweather after his contest, Jake Paul posted the following message.
I would beat Floyd and Anderson in the same night 🫠

Paul wants to fight Mayweather
Despite a masterful showcase of skill by Floyd in the exhibit, Paul was unimpressed with his performance. Paul has been preparing for his own return to the ring expected to be in August this year. While no opponent has formally been announced, Tommy Fury, Sonny Bill Williams, and Anderson Silva lead the race of potential contenders.
In an appearance on The Fight with Teddy Atlas, Jake Paul hinted at a fight with Floyd Mayweather. The two nearly came to blows at a press conference for his elder brother Logan Paul’s matchup with Mayweather.
” Floyd Mayweather, Oscar De La Hoya, Anderson Silva, Michael Bisping, Tommy Fury, Sonny [Bill] Williams out of Australia”
While a showdown against Mayweather seems unlikely, Paul could be looking at a fight with Anderson Silva in his next bout.
