Things got a little chippy between Jake Paul and Andre August ahead of their highly anticipated clash in Orlando.

The ‘Problem Child’ will step inside the squared circle for the final time in 2023 on Friday night (December 15), four months removed from his unanimous decision victory over Nate Diaz in The Lone Star State. Stepping on the scale at the official weigh-in ceremony, Paul weighed in at 199.4 pounds while August came in at 198.6, respectively.

However, the biggest moment from the weigh-ins was the heated face-off between Paul and August, which you can see below:

Jake Paul Promises to ‘Outbox the Boxer’

Jake Paul goes into the fight with a 7-1 record, his lone loss coming against the only “legitimate boxer” he has faced in his career thus far, UK star Tommy Fury. Paul’s opponent, Andre August, will play a similar role in their Sunshine State showdown. Though he has only fought once since 2019, August holds a solid 10-1 record in the sweet science with five of his victories coming by way of knockout.

His last appearance inside the ring came in August where he bested Brandon Martin via a unanimous decision.

“I’m gonna shock the world,” August said at Thursday’s weigh-in. “I’m gonna put him down. I’m tired of all that talking. All that talking is over with. December 15, let’s get it. It’s going down.”

Paul was brimming with confidence during the pre-fight ceremony and promised fight fans that he would put away his opponent in spectacular fashion.

“I’m gonna outbox the boxer, Paul said. “I’m runnin’ the fade and he’s going to sleep. Andre August is going to sleep and he don’t need a Celsius to wake him up.”

Emanating from the Caribe Royale Orlando, Jake Paul vs. Andre August will air live and exclusively on DAZN. The event is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET with the main event expected to start around 10:30 p.m. ET.
