  • Jake Paul has claimed that Floyd Mayweather is broke, doesn’t pay his taxes, and owes a lot of people money
  • Paul doesn’t think his brother Logan Paul will ever get paid for his fight against Mayweather

Jake Paul did not hold back in putting UFC fighters on blast along with Canelo Alvarez ahead of the historic Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano boxing match he’s promoting. Another name he brought up was retired boxing legend Floyd Mayweather who has still not paid Logan Paul.

Jake Paul says Mayweather is “broke”

Paul, who’s working this weekend as a boxing promoter with Eddie Hearn for the first female headlining fight at the Madison Square Garden fired shots at ‘The Money’. Talking to FightHub TV, the YouTube sensation bashed Mayweather for not paying his brother Logan Paul.

Another YouTube superstar, the elder Paul agreed to fight Mayweather in an exhibition match for a reported sum of $14 million in 2021. As of now, he has still not paid Paul for his agreement with The Money Team.

“Floyd Mayweather is broke. That’s what a lot of people don’t realize,” Paul said. “He gets these big checks and doesn’t pay the taxes on it. And then IRS comes hunting him down later. He owes a lot of people I know money”

Jake claims that Mayweather does not pay his taxes and apparently is in debt to numerous people.

“Logan’s deep down on that list so I don’t know if Logan’s ever going to get paid. It’s kind of f**ked up,” added Paul.

A lawsuit was opened up

Logan Paul had revealed his plans to sue Mayweather on his podcast in February this year. He even received a response from the man himself who stated that the earnings take time to reach his account from the PPV. Money claimed to still be collecting checks from his fights of seven or eight years ago.

Mayweather also said that Paul should be content with “the biggest payday of his life” suggesting an unwillingness to share profits any further.

At the London press conference, Jake Paul shared that a lawsuit was opened up by Logan against Floyd to pressure him legally and behind the scenes. Paul claims he hasn’t received his full purse and will continue to pursue the contract agreement until settlement.
