Jake Paul is scheduled to step back into the boxing ring on October 29th against his toughest test yet. ‘The Problem Child’ will face former UFC middleweight world champion and MMA great Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva.
The two fighters came face-to-face for the first time during an official press conference to promote the October event. While there, Jake Paul took the opportunity to call out UFC President Dana White, challenging him to a wager on the outcome of his fight with Anderson Silva.
“No one thought I’d take this fight – even Dana White,” Paul said on Monday’s Paul vs. Silva press conference. “He did not think I would take this fight. And Dana, I know you’re watching, bro. You still owe me a million dollars when you bet against me (versus) Ben Askren.
“I want you to come out of hiding and stop being a b*tch, and make a bet against me and Anderson and actually pay up this time because you didn’t think I’d take this fight. So let’s make a bet. Let’s put one mil, two mil, five mil on it. But I bet you won’t Dana, because you’re a b*tch.”
Jake Paul challenges UFC president Dana White to a $5 million bet (!!!) for his showdown with Anderson Silva.
"I bet you won't, Dana, because you're a bitch."

Jake Paul Calls Fight With Anderson Silva a ‘Make-or-Break’ Moment
Jake Paul will make his sixth appearance inside the squared circle when he meets Anderson Silva later this year. Thus far, the social media star has remained undefeated in his career but has been heavily criticized for avoiding fights with legitimate boxers. While Silva is not a pro boxer, he is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in MMA history. In June 2021, Silva defeated boxing icon Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. via split decision, solidifying his status as a legitimate threat in the world of professional boxing.
“This is it. This is a make-or-break moment,” Paul said. “I know that I have someone who just beat a former world champion boxer in front of me. I don’t take him lightly at all. He’s the GOAT of striking, he’s the GOAT of MMA.”
At 47 years old, Anderson Silva continues to be a dangerous opponent for any fighter who steps into the ring or the cage with him. The jury is still out as to whether or not Jake Paul is a legitimate high-level competitor in the boxing ring, but many of those questions will be answered on October 29th when he meets ‘The Spider’.
