Floyd Mayweather shuts down allegations of not paying Logan Paul

‘Money’ Mayweather recently revealed his next exhibition bout to be against Mikuru Asakura under RIZIN in Japan. During a press conference for the Mayweather vs Asakura fight in September, the boxing Hall of Famer shut down allegations of not paying Logan Paul.

“We done one with Logan Paul and I don’t really want to call that an exhibition. I came to entertain, he came to hold, it is what it is. It’s so crazy that, you know I have social media on my phone, every once in a while somebody may send me something, to my phone.

“It’s so crazy that Logan Paul wants to do an exhibition again but it’s the same guy that said he didn’t get paid. It is what it is.”

‘Money’ talks about Oscar De La Hoya running for mayor

Oscar De La Hoya had recently indicated that he may run for mayor of Las Vegas. Following a brief stint in mixed martial arts that concluded with a sole event for ‘The Golden Boy’, Mayweather shared his thoughts on De La Hoya’s new plans.

“It’s his prerogative, he’s able to do whatever he wants to do. One week, he want to be a boxer, next week he want to do MMA, after that he want to be a saint, then he want to be a model.

“He don’t know what he want to do. Now mayor, next year he want to be the president. You just don’t know”

Floyd Mayweather will fight Mikuru Asakura in Japan sometime in September. The rules and length of the bout have not yet been made public.
