Ebanie Bridges, an Australian professional boxer had an interesting meeting with former UFC champ-champ Conor McGregor.

Bridges is 9-1 as a pro boxer and is currently the IBF female bantamweight champion. Although she hails from Australia, the 36-year-old attended the Katie Taylor vs. Chantelle Cameron fight in Ireland and shared photos of her meeting McGregor.

In the comments after Ebanie Bridges asked fans to caption the photo, one fan wrote it looks like Conor McGregor was manhandling her which she confirmed was the case.

“I felt like he was ngl. [not going to lie] Lol,” Bridges responded to the comment.

Another fan also wondered if McGregor’s wife was okay with this picture, but most of the comments were funny which Bridges had a good laugh about.

Despite facing inappropriate comments, the IBF bantamweight world champion confidently brushed them off, clarifying that she and McGregor were simply showing off their luxury watches. In a lighthearted tweet, she playfully wrote, “We’re just #WatchFlexing.”

Following attending a Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron fight alongside McGregor, Bridges embarked on a journey to Philadelphia, where she joined welterweight contender Jaron Ennis for training sessions, aiming to further enhance her skills and technique in the ring.

Over the past five months, the 36-year-old fighter has been focused on her recovery following hand surgery. Recently, she made headlines by offering free access to her OnlyFans page to Leeds United players if they can secure their spot in the Premier League.

McGregor’s next fight

Conor McGregor played a role in setting up the Taylor vs. Cameron fight in Ireland which is why he was there but the Irishman is also getting ready to return to the UFC.

McGregor and Chandler are coaching TUF 31 – which is set to air next Tuesday – and will fight later this year. The Irishman is expected to be back in the USADA pool very soon which will set up the fight against Chandler hopefully later this year.

“That’s correct [there will be an announcement during the airing of The Ultimate Fighter],” White said. “There’s a fight. He has to get into the USADA pool first. He’s filling out the paperwork. I don’t know how soon that will be done or what’s going on, but that’s his business, that he’s handling with USADA. But it’s all in motion… That’s what we’re shooting for. Hopefully we have a big fight in Madison Square Garden in November, and then a big fight in December.”

Conor McGregor has not fought since July 2021 when he broke his leg in his trilogy match against Dustin Poirier.
