- Cris Cyborg scored a one-punch KO win in her latest boxing match
- The Brazilian was challenged by reigning BKFC champion Christine Ferea
Cris Cyborg only needed one round to knock her opponent out cold in her latest boxing match.
A Walkoff KO
The Brazilian started the new year right with a spectacular KO win over Kelsey Wickstrum in their boxing match at WFC 163 in Temecula, California this past weekend. The fight did not last long as Cyborg finished Wickstrum in 81 seconds after landing a hard right to the temple.
Wickstrum immediately fell and Cyborg seemingly realized that her opponent was never getting back up. True to form, Wickstrum tried to get back on her feet only to fall down face-first.
It was in that moment when the referee in charge decided to it was over.

A new challenger entered the ring
Moments after Cyborg was declared the winner via KO, BKFC champion Christine Ferea stunned the crowd by entering the ring. Ferea called out Cyborg face-to-face and even though it was intense, the pair showed their utmost respect for one another. However, the Brazilian left Ferea a warning and said, “You know I have hands, it’s going to be hard.”

The win over Wickstrum saw Cyborg completing a three-fight winning streak in pro boxing. She was coming off back-to-back decision wins, one over Simone da Silva and the other over Gabrielle Holloway.
