Mike Perry, Chad Mendes & Ben Rothwell Set to Make A Comebacks at BKFC Denver on April 29th

The April BKFC show from Denver will feature some recognizable names for fight fans to tune in for.

Mike Perry And Chad Mendes

Former UFC stars Mike Perry and Chad Mendes are amongst some big names that are set to return to the ring at Bare-Knuckle FC’s April 29 show in Denver. Perry and Mendes join the likes of ex-UFC heavyweight contender Ben Rothwell, and former UFC women’s flyweight competitor Bec Rawlings.

MMA Fighting confirmed the names with the promotion in a recent report. Currently, Perry, Mendes, and Rothwell are awaiting their respective opponents to be finalized. Rawlings, however, will be challenging Christine Ferea for the BKFC women’s flyweight title. Opponents for Perry, Mendes, and Rothwell are all expected to be announced in the near future.

Mike Perry Gunning For Big Name Opponent

Perry is looking to get a big step up in opponent after taking out Bellator star Michael “Venom” Page in his last BKFC outing. He has been jawing off with YouTube and boxing star Jake Paul, however, that likely won’t be his opponent as Paul is booked for a professional boxing bout against Tommy Fury at the moment.

“They said that I would be back as main event in April, and they haven’t released the opponent yet. They said it’s going to be a big name,” Perry said.

“That’s the thing about me. They can just be like, ‘Mike’s going to fight in April, we’re going to set it down in stone and when we find out who it’s going to be, we’re going to call him up and he’s going to come out.’ I’m easy. I just want to scrap it out.”

As for Chad Mendes, he is looking to keep the ball rolling after a successful BKFC debut in February of last year, where he knocked out Joshuah “Famez” Alvarez in the fourth round. Rothwell also got a big knockout win in his BKFC debut, finishing Bobo O’Bannon in October in just 19 seconds.
