Chad Mendes Knocks Out ‘Famez’ In BKFC Debut – KnuckleMania 2 Results (Highlights)

Bareknuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC): “KnuckleMania 2” is taking place TONIGHT (Sat., Feb. 19, 2022) from inside Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. 

The multi-time UFC title challenger Chad Mendes made a statement in his BKFC debut tonight.

Round 1:

Chad Mendes starts off his BKFC debut throwing some beautiful combos. The two trade from a distance. They don’t throw much as they are very hesitant to throw any punches in the opening round. Mendes and ‘Famez’ look to feel each other out as they go to the second round.

Round 2:

Mendes drives Famez to the ropes. They separate. Mendes takes big swings that barely miss ‘Famez’. ‘Money’ lands a big right hand. Mendes is starting to feel his range, finding a home for his massive right hand. Jab to the body and then a punch to the head lands for Mendes. ‘Famez’ is caught by the explosive right hand, and goes down to the mat. 

Alvarez gets up after a few seconds, only for the round end closely after.

Round 3:

A smirk opens up on the face of the former UFC fighter. He’s as confident as ever. Mendes throws a left hand which just misses. Mendes throws another massive bomb with his right hand. He continues to land ‘Famez’ before he falls to the ground.. Alvarez barely gets up in time, standing up from the canvas at 9 seconds. Round ends.

Round 4:

Mendes pours on the pressure for the fourth round. He goes for the kill as Alvarez takes a 360 degree turn. They separate as Mendes again smells blood. Mendes goes for another crisp combo and makes ‘Famez’ famous for hitting the mat. The grounded fighter gets back up only to be knocked down again. 

‘Famez’ tries to get back up in time, but the referee stops the fight at the 10-count. ‘Money’ cashes in big, in his BKFC debut. Welcome back, Chad Mendes!
