If Cat Zingano and Miesha Tate don’t get the FOTN bonus we don’t even…

Why does ‘barn-burner’ carry positive connotations? Someone’s livelihood was just reduced to ashes and for some reason it’s considered this great thing. We don’t call great fights house fires, or warehouse accidents, so what is with this barn burning? We may never be able to solve that mystery, because our attentions have been directed to the giant, smoldering crater where that classic red barn stood. It wasn’t just burnt down, someone dropped a nuclear bomb on it’s shingle roof, and it’s all because of Cat Zingano and Miesha Tate.

We know that the ladies consistently steal just about every show they’re featured on, and Miesha Tate hasn’t had a boring fight in years, but this… This was a FIght of The Year candidate. A love letter to back and forth brawls and everything that’s great about MMA.

There were times where Miesha had Cat in precarious positions, but as Miesha faded near the second, Zingano surged like she inhaled some catnip on her stool between rounds, and decimated Miesha with some expertly timed knees. Wow!

Now Cat Zingano is the coach opposite Ronda Rousey on The Ultimate Fighter season 18 (which will be on FOX Sports 1 next season).

It looks like controversy will follow this fight as well:
