Manny Pacquiao is interested in rematching Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout.
Floyd Mayweather retired from professional boxing after beating Conor McGregor in 2017. He has since been making millions by putting on non-competitive exhibition bouts. These matches are not scored and have no effect on his professional record of 50 and 0.

Pacquiao continued to compete professionally until his loss to Yordenis Ugas last summer. ‘PacMan’ focused his efforts on a presidential run in the Philippines after hanging up the gloves. However, there is still a possibility he could return to the ring under the right circumstances.
Sean Gibbons, head of MP Promotions, revealed that Manny Pacquiao wants to rematch Mayweather under exhibition rules, as reported by Planet Sport.
“Let’s go. [I] would love to see it but Mayweather wants none of this smoke due to his ego. Senator Pacquiao would love an exhibition, if he was to return it would be this year – but that is a big ‘if’.”
Gibbons made it clear that it would only happen if Pacquiao was to end his retirement, which presumably is a big ask considering his political ambitions.

Mayweather last stepped inside the ring against former sparring partner Don Moore last month in Abu Dhabi. The undefeated boxer put on an entertaining show for the fans. From chatting with the audience, replying to the commentators, to taking the ring girls’ cards between rounds, Mayweather did it all.
“I would like to thank everybody in the UAE, the media, and everybody who covered this fight. This is one of the best countries in the world. Don Moore is still undefeated, we are both still undefeated.
“I will bring another fight back to the UAE this year. It’s a secret. I don’t want to let the cat out the bag right now. But we have an opponent, and I choose the UAE. It’s been a little rollercoaster ride for all of the fighters. I want to commend the fighters on just being patient.”
Following his dominant performance, ‘Money’ shared that he will fight once more in the Middle East in October. A matchup against Pacquiao would make for a sensational box office performance considering their first fight in 2015. It remains the biggest in boxing history, selling over 4.6m on PPV and making hundreds of millions for both men.
