Tyson Fury is riding off into the sunset with another insane KO.
The Fight
‘The Gypsy King’ made quite the entrance to his retirement fight, coming in on a throne. The heavyweight champ would also leave the ring, retaining his crown against Dillian Whyte. Fury would make a statement with a masterclass performance in front of 94,000 fans at the Wembley Arena in London, England.
Fury would only need six rounds to turn off the lights of Whyte. The finishing blow would be a show-stopping right uppercut.
The referee would put a stop to the action after Whyte struggled to get up from the canvas.
Post-Fight
What a performance for the British boxer. And it looks like the performance will be his last. Fury would open up about retirement and legacy in his post-fight interview.
“I promised my wife after the Wilder trilogy, that would be it,” Fury said. “Then I got offered to fight at Wembley. I owed it to all the fans in the United Kingdom. I think this is it. This might be the final curtain for the Gypsy King.”
“I’m one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. Unfortunately for Dillian Whyte, he had to face me tonight. He has the heart of a lion.”
If this is his last fight, thank you for all of the memories, Tyson Fury.
