Jaws were dropped at UFC 300.
The KO Heard Round’ The World
Last weekend’s pay-per-view event was one to remember, from heavy prelim action to Alex Pereira knocking out Jamahal Hill in the main event, there was something for just about everyone. But, one fight in particular stands out from the rest: Max Holloway vs. Justin Gaethje.
The two lightweights threw down for five rounds until there was one ‘BMF’ left standing. It’d be former champ Holloway who came out on top after producing a viral and violent finish of Gaethje with a second left to go on the clock.
Whether it’s your first or one-thousandth time watching it, see what everybody’s talking about below:

“Yo @ufc where’s the corners reaction?” Holloway wrote on ‘X’ on Tuesday.

Hours later, the BMF title holder would get exactly what he asked for, posting his team’s live reaction to the madness that unfolded at UFC 300.
It takes a village. You guys might know there names but they make some of the biggest sacrifices for me. A debt I’ll never be able to repay. pic.twitter.com/VsVOXfkLW1

Team Holloway broke out in screams, with the cornermen yelling “Let’s f****** go!’ and “Baddest M’fer right there!” before embracing each other in celebration.
“It takes a village,” Holloway said of his corner. “You guys might know there names but they make some of the biggest sacrifices for me. A debt I’ll never be able to repay.”
“Ask And You Shall Receive”
Before Holloway’s wish was granted, referee Marc Goddard initially requested that his audio be brought up while he was officiating the last 10-second slugfest between Holloway & Gaethje which saw “The Highlight” fall face-first.
“Id love the UFC to release the mic’d audio from me,” Goddard wrote on ‘X’ on Monday. “I literally screamed out at that ending, first time in 20 years. It was an automatic reaction I guess. I’m still speechless. Still have goosebumps. Both of these guys are the epitome of our sport. Sheer class. What a privilege.”
