Israel Adesanya says Alex Pereira is giving him Paulo Costa vibes after the diss videos

In a recent interview with The AllStar, Adesanya talked about the recent videos Pereira uploaded mocking the 185-pound titleholder’s training. He revealed that ‘Poatan’ began to remind him of former title challenger Paulo Costa, whom Izzy dispatched in the second round by TKO.

“Right now, this ni**a gave me f**king mad Costa vibes. He did the Segway thing, or the hoverboard thing. I didn’t even know it was a diss at me so I was like, ‘really? okay whatever.’ Then he just recently did the tennis ball thing. I saw it on Instagram and I was just like, ‘okay.’

“I remember Costa was doing skits with his guys and all that s**t. Same thing. I don’t react. What do you want from me? He wants me to react. I don’t react but I will respond with violence when it is time.”

Adesanya reacts to Jon Jones giving Pereira advice

‘Stylebender’ shared his reaction to former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones advising Pereira to not upload training footage.

“I don’t care but if it’s true, he knows why.”

Although Adesanya has made peace with Pereira being the only man to have ever knocked him out, he will look to add another title defense under his belt and get the last laugh against a formidable rival in a long-drawn dispute.
