Former UFC Title Contender Yushin Okami Suffers A Painful Loss In ONE Championship Debut
Former UFC title contender and Japanese MMA veteran Yushin Okami made his ONE Championship debut against Kyrgyzstan’s Kiamran Abbasov in a welterweight contest on Saturday night at Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia. However, things didn’t end well for Okami as his opponent finishes him with strikes in a second-round.
Abbasov dropped Okami with a big right hand then finishes him with heavy punches on the ground with 70 seconds left into the second round at “ONE Championship 94: For Honor” MMA event.
Abbasov (21-4) is now riding on three consecutive wins with two finishes.
Okami (35-13) left the UFC back in 2013 returned to promotion again after four years of hiatus but only managed to achieved 1-3.
