Brown can break your hand just from hitting him. Brown can defend his belt against any foreign invaders. Brown can serve exactly 66.6% of Urijah Faber’s losses. Brown can be a Penguin’s fan. Brown can stay unbeaten for 4 years.
I’m not sure when someone can be considered a legend, there’s no blueprint to it. But I think Mike Brown is hovering around the realm of the Anderson Silva’s, Bas Rutten’s and the Randy Couture’s. Except he’s a Pittsburgh Penguin’s fan so I don’t know what happened there. Brown’s proved that he’s beyond the real deal. The real deal looks at him for advice. Realistically, I think the only featherweight that has the best chance of snatching Brown’s title is none of other than the rawest Carebear alive, Michihiro Omigawa. Omigawa is the only dude I know that would get on the mic before a fight and say ‘F* all of you who think I will lose’. That guy needs to come to WEC (Or Brown needs to shoot off to Sengoku for few) and then we can see some bangemite explosions happen in the cage (or ring in Japan which still makes no sense). Congrats Mike Brown on being Mike Brown.
