Big thanks to @MikeBohnMMA and his undying love of obscure European hip-hop to give us the heads up on this new video starring Valentijn Overeem. That Mike Bohn, perpetually in search of Europe’s greatest gangster rapper — fortunately his pursuit has come to an end with the discovery of ‘Cold and Hot Gloom’ (or CHG if you don’t feel like saying all of that in public). He’s the self-proclaimed ‘Europe’s #1 Gangsta Rapper’ and he released a video called ‘Street Credibility’ — that takes place entirely inside of a gym — which quite frankly makes me believe that it should be called ‘Gym Credibility.’
Despite what you may think of the video, it does feature Valentijn Overeem and CHG references Raekwon’s ‘Cuban Linx’ album, so that has to count for something. Be sure to look out for Nick Diaz’s young doppelganger at the 1:27 mark and Tommy Toe Hold on the left at 1:14. It’s also important to note that if you cross your arms and hold your chin up as you watch this video, your viewing experience will be greatly enhanced.
