If someone uses that headline after Alexander Gustafsson beats Jimi Manuwa at UFC Fight Night 37 then instruct that person that he/she should never write another headline from now until the English language deteriorates into a potpourri of emoticons and short-hand. Of course all of this is contingent on Gustafsson beating Manuwara — which is something that has the same probability as Angulo defeating Canelo this weekend in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand.
I simply can’t envision a scenario in which Gustafsson will defeat Manuwa — sorry to all you Swedish readers out there. We all would be excited if Gustafsson won this weekend and lined up for another shot against Jones — but Manuwa simply hits too hard for this to actually occur. However, Gustafsson is practicing his Showtime Kick which has to count for something, right?
