I spent last night arguing whether Brock’s loss to Cain was more “shocking” or “surprising”, which I can assure you, was one of the most pointless conversations I’ve had in years. Semantic disputes are never pretty, and the aftermath of UFC 121 will bring up a bevy of verbal clashes that will inevitably leave everyone less intelligent for partaking in them. We don’t need to lose any more brain cells, Cain is Mexican-American, let’s move on. Ariel Helwani caught up with what I think was a very shocked (or surprised?) Undertaker immediately following last nights main event, check out around the 48-second mark, where a dejected Lesnar locks eyes with the Undertaker and the Undertaker asks “do you wanna do it?”.
I’m pretty sure “do it” doesn’t mean make love in this scenario, which would be both shocking and surprising. As it turns out, back in 2002 Lesnar broke the Undertaker’s hand with a propane tank and maybe he just never dropped the beef. Even Paul Heyman was pissed. Really though, it could mean anything. We could dedicate an entire Sunday Morning Rumor Mill on that brief meeting. Personally, I think Undertaker was just confirming their breakfast date for Sunday, skillets or pancakes? But that’s not as fun.
