There is more than the usual pride, glory and personal achievement on the line tomorrow for Shinya Aoki and Tatsuya Kawajiri. Some would say they are fighting for their tattered homeland. After being ravaged by mother nature last month, the Japanese people have rallied together in the face of nuclear adversity and a shaking earth to return to a degree of normality despite even more quakes. On a day where Zuffa pulls the creds of journalists everywhere for tomorrow’s Strikeforce show, maybe we should be thankful that we can just watch the fights in our pajama pants, shirtless with Nutella smears on our arms and necks, with zero 30 foot tsunami waves headed in our general direction.
