Every week, I shave my head in the bathtub. I then spend the next 10 minutes flexing my biceps in the mirror to see the reflection of a finely chiseled blackbelt in the art of wasting potential. While I could have made better choices in life, or at least eaten a salad instead of a 2,000 calorie chorizo burrito earlier that day, the man I see in my mirror is one of simple needs. On the other hand, a man with a magnificent mullet (such as Miguel Torres) must always carry a comb to insure the sheen & swagger of his coif. It’s a life far more complex than mine. Beyond that, he must have state-of-the-art groin protection to preserve his cojones in the event of competing in MMA.
