The year is young, but props to Invicta FC’s last PPV for kicking 2013 off with a spectacular show, an inadvertent wardrobe malfunction, some ridiculous afterparty photos, and now, a boob massage. That kind of action is a year-in-the-making for most promotions, but Invicta got it all out of the way in one night after an online PPV debut that was so popular that it allegedly crashed UStream’s entire payment system.
We love watching these ladies compete and we’re glad they’ve found a home for their talent. It’s a bummer it’s not our home, where we have a comfy sofa, HBO, and an entire box of microwavable popcorn from Costco… But we can live with that as long as they continue dropping ballerish elbows on one another and hugging it out immediately thereafter. Ending last Invicta card was Carla Esparza in an impressive decision victory over Bec Hyatt. When you win a title at Invicta, it certifies you’re the baddest woman in the world at that weight class, and the reward for that is receiving a boob massage from Felice Herrig (and a championship belt).
