Alexander Volkanovski is making his pick for the UFC 282 main card fight between Darren Till and Dricus Du Plessis.

The featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is busy preparing for the biggest fight of his career. He will be taking on lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in February and looks to become a two-division champion. In the meantime, Volkanovski took some time out to make his predictions for the last UFC PPV of the year, UFC 282.

Volkanovski has been running a successful YouTube channel around having a very successful fighting career. The pound-for-pound kings will often post breakdowns, picks, and even a cooking show to his growing channel. He is now setting his sights on a big matchup on the main card of UFC 282, the fight between Darren Till and Dricus Du Plessis.

Volkanovski took a deep dive into both Till and Du Plessis and made his prediction for the fight.

“Darren Till, Dricus. Man, Darren Till is good, he is, he is good. He can be hit or miss. I feel like Darren Till can capitalize on this, I watched a bit of tape on the Dricus and he can be a little bit aggressive, he can overcommit,” he said. “Darren Till, he’s got some good Muay Thai. I do believe sometimes he does keep that chin up there a little bit, some people can capitalize on it. I don’t think Dricus will, I think Dricus has got to put himself in more vulnerable positions. And again, Darren Till’s got some tiny hands and you can capitalize on that. Come in aggressive like that. Darren Till has a win over Wonderboy that’s a big win obviously, seen Wonderboy still has it and that was a while ago you know just little things like that. So obviously Darren Til is high level and I think a better striker, definitely a better striker than Dricus I believe so I’m gonna lean towards Darren Till.”

Till is coming into this bout having lost 4 of his last five. He was the headliner in three of those four losses and this time asked the UFC for a three-round bout. He got his wish but will be up against a tough opponent in Du Plessis. The South African striker has won five in a row fights, four by finishes. Fans will definitely be tuning in for this banger.
